The {{man label|Fan Chart}} compactly shows paternal and maternal ancestors. The report produces a chart representing family relationships in a tree structure resembling a fan (half circle) and optionally as a quarter or full circle, with the Active person in the inner circle (center), parents are in the second concentric circle divided in two (each side is one parent), the third circle is divided in four representing grandparents and so on, for a total maximum of five eleven generations.
This chart is also know as a ''Pedigree fan chart''.
