→Prerequisite to use Genealogical Symbols
If the fontconfig [[Gramps_5.1_Wiki_Manual_-_Settings#Prerequisite|prerequisite has been installed]], then on the {{man label|Genealogical Symbols}} tab select the {{man button|Try to find}} button, Gramps will attempt to detect any suitable unicode text fonts that can be used.

When the search has completed select one of the fonts from the {{man button|Choose font}} list and then select the checkbox:
