This tab gives you the possibility to use one font which is able to show all genealogical symbols.(Once configured see: [[Gramps_5.1_Wiki_Manual_-_Settings#Prerequisite_to_use_Genealogical_Symbols|Prerequisite_to_use_Genealogical_Symbols]]
If you select the "use symbols" checkbox, Gramps will use the selected font if it exists.
