=====Select Place selector=====

You may use the {{man button|Find}} button to filter the list based on one of the options from the drop down list:
* '''Name contains''' (default)
* '''Name does not contain'''
* '''ID contains'''
* '''ID does not contain'''
* '''Type contains'''
* '''Type does not contain'''
* '''Title contains'''
* '''Title does not contain'''
* '''Last Change contains'''
* '''Last Change does not contain'''
The {{man button|Clear}} button will reset the filter.
If no record was selected, clearing will reset the scrolling to the top of the list. However, if a row was selected from the 'Find' results, clearing the filter will re-center on the selected item instead scrolling to top.
{{man tip|Using the Clear button to navigate to "nearby: in the Object Selector|Let us say that you know that you can remember the municipal area but the exact neighborhood (quartier) name is escaping your recollection. You know that the {{man button|Find}} will let you find the municipal area but hide all the items it encloses.
You do not have to drill-down through the hierarchy of "Le Marais, Arrondissement de l’Hôtel‑de‑Ville, Paris, Métropole du Grand Paris, Île‑de‑France, France, Europe", Since you recall that it is in the "l’Hôtel‑de‑Ville" municipal arrondissement, you could {{man button|Find}} "de-ville". Then click the "l’Hôtel‑de‑Ville" row to select that part of the place hierarchy and click the {{man button|Clear}} button.
Clearing the filter will leave the Place Selector dialog centered on that selected municipal area (Arrondissement de l’Hôtel‑de‑Ville) of the Place hierarchy.
This can be used to bypass a lot of scrolling (and hierarchy exploring) when you know a record that would be 'nearby' the item you were seeking.
