The author of this plugin addon has a lot of data that was imported from http://ancestry.com via GEDCOM. It seems that the ancestry.com software doesn't always do a great job of converting their web pages to notes for GEDCOM export.
The popular '''Family Tree Maker''' software, in conjunction with ancestry.com also seems to have a lot of these "dirty" notes in their GEDCOM exports.
There are probably other ways that dirty notes get into our data, but this tool can help clean it up.
