Using mediawiki subpages
The wiki currently uses them mostly for language translations, but as soon as I can get a full half day I'll be upgrading mediawiki and installing the MediaWiki_Language_Extension_Bundle and a few other goodies. Feel free to use subpages as you need, but don't use too many sublevels due language translation and user experience. Thanks Sam888 (talk) 03:32, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

Mainly because the Gramps project has been around for a long time (big ball of string comes to mind) and with volunteers they do what interest them only. Apart from that I can say that it looks to have been slowly improving with each release see the following issues 8888, 9042, 10919 the last one which has been closed (possibly accidentally as not all of it has been done!) and the associated issues. See https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php?title=GEPS_034:_Improve_usability#Improve_Help_and_Documentations_in_Gramps also. GulliblePangolin (talk) 00:45, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
I saw that you wrote an article about the DNA addon and managed to have the segments color coded in one graph. When I do add it myself I only get seperate graphs for each associated person. I wondered if you you also run into that problem and know what is causing it and how to fix it. Matt (talk) 09:30, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
- Can't help you, still attempting to work out how it works! User:GaryGriffin wrote the article and provided the screenshots, so maybe ask him? --Gioto (talk) 22:11, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
- Update worked out why I'm not seeing what GaryGriffin's screenshots show, it is because he has done a major refactor and it is for an unreleased version not available to anyone!
