A census in GRAMPS should be one source, with all people refering to this one source via a source reference. However, in many instances, the source is a book, with non-related entries, eg a birth reference book spanning 4 years, with one entry per birth. Some people find it easier to make every entry a source, which then will only have sourcereferences to the people connected to the entry, eg to the birth.

How do you store sources in GRAMPS?

A census in GRAMPS should be one source, with all people referring to this one source via a source reference. However, in many instances, the source is a book, with non-related entries, eg a birth reference book spanning 4 years, with one entry per birth. Some people find it easier to make every entry a source, which then will only have source references to the people connected to the entry, eg to the birth.

What do you use? <poll domain=intl> How do you store sources in GRAMPS? always one source, many source references mostly one source, many source references mostly many sources, few source references always many sources, few source references </poll>
