Unsupported Quick reports you can use in GRAMPS to obtain extra reports.

  • Reporef.py (trunk) or Reporef2.py (old tab version) will display active repository references written on all sources. True ,we can get this data with multiples click on tabs. Currently, we cannot get the same object ref as object view. (ex: event ref editor on event view, source ref editor on source view, repository ref editor on repo view). That's logical, most events do not reference event, source do not reference source, etc ...But maybe, we can try to retrieve object references who match THE object. Look at other objects and display references data. - (event refs by using quick report on event object, place refs by using quick report on place object, etc ...) romjerome
  • timearea.py could be a draft step of the common rule for genealogical search : who, when, where, which could be translated by find :
  1. families at date on places (old tiny tafel , Summary Event List or WriteGeneanet plugin and glade file written by Julio for GRAMPS 2.0.x)
  2. places with families at date (geographical map) like Geographic_Report written by Benny
  3. dates with families (chronological patronymic linea/pedigree) like current Timeline Chart report. (sample)
  • The "Descendant count" quick report tells you how many descendants a person has, how many were born during his/her lifetime, how many already died during his/her lifetime, and how many are still alive today.
