Merge and Redirect

I suggest merging and redirecting this page to User_manual_translations, the content of this page can be at the top of the page? Gioto (talk) 04:03, 9 June 2020 (UTC)

There's a huge number of links in the User_manual_translations page & it would be fussy revalidation work when continually reviewing when the page gets changed. Would User_manual_translations statistical content had any value to this "Translating the Gramps User manual" process instruction page? On the other hand, we're REALLY hoping translators will start improving the English page where the process documentation falls short. Hopefully, people will translate this page as a experiment and take the opportunity to make the instructions better for other new translators.
By the way, translatewiki.net looks like it might be a useful resource for improving our localizing process. Maybe they have ideas to make it easier or more automated. They represent a pool of translators who are experienced with methods & tools for maintaining internationalization of any MediaWiki site. (At least they should have some suggestions for having separating Category pages for each language.) However, as a monoglot, I am unqualified to evaluate (or even become a validated user on their site) what they offer. Perhaps you could look them over? Thanks either way.
