Adrian, the two programs you added are not open source! They are both freeware, with some strings attached. I will move them to a relavent section.

only OSS

Don and Alex have decided to only allow OSS on this page. There is a page with some non-OSS software, but also no link to that is provided here (you can search for it) as they deem that the referral to Cindy's list is broader. bmcage 10:44, 26 March 2007 (EDT)

About GeneWeb

Some features of GeneWeb must be underlined:

  • GeneWeb is available for Windows, MacOS, Linux, and can be compiled on every other Unix-like system
  • GeneWeb has a server architecture, and can be managed by several users (called wizards). This feature allows GeneWeb to manage large and huge bases where an unique keyboard is not enough as data source.
