Gioto,

Will you PLEASE stop????

You keep wiping out the text I'm working upon.

It is a public wiki all pages are public, but yes I'll refrain from editing no need to shout! I like the idea of the page and was attempting to bring the relevant information together! I'll get off your grass! --Gioto (talk) 00:05, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

You don't realize how many times you've destroyed outlines representing hours of effort. (Since I'm usually working from a SmartPhone, researching for edits entails a lot more effort.) You jump in prematurely. Give a person a couple days on an entirely new page!

And before you say that I can use the History to restore... it doesn't work that way when the other editor is using the Preview or Show Changes. The Saves you do can overwrite the unsaved data cached in the text editor. The work is just GONE.

It is so intensely frustrating that I have had to walk away to vent. And editing a page in which you've taken an interest loses all appeal. From past experience, I know the moment I add anything, you're going jump in again. And then you get hypersensitive and personally insulting in discussions.

Pages are only considered 'Public' once they are linked from other pages. That is by courtesy. Just like personal workspaces are private unless coworker request assistance or shares a draft for comment. (MediaWiki does not permit anyone but an Admin to Protect a page.)

Instead of essentially 'grabbing the keyboard', why not insert your suggestions (or fresh content with markup) into the Discussion page?
