Problems with 10.4

This process worked for me on OSX 10.4 until I tried to run gramps, and got 

GConf Error: Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP
networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See http://www.gnome.org/projects/gconf/ 
for information. (Details -  1: Failed to get connection to session: dbus-launch failed to autolaunch D-Bus 
session: Autolaunch requested, but X11 support not compiled in.
Cannot continue.)


This might be because 10.5 has a newer version of X11 installed, or for some other reason I can't ascertain. Help appreciated. --Lihtox 14:20, 18 December 2008 (EST)
