*Een platform wordt door de gemeenschap ondersteund, wanneer gebruikers een installeerbare versie voor dat platform aanmaken. Maar de volledige functionaliteit van GRAMPS Gramps is niet gewaarborgd en sommige computers kunnen onderdelen kunnen niet werken. De ontwikkelaars zijn afhankelijk van de gemeenschap om problemen op te lossen. Hun doel is natuurlijk om GRAMPS Gramps te laten werken op alle platfomenplatformen, maar ze hebben de middelen niet om een zeer specifieke testen uit te voeren voor elke nieuwe uitgave.
