Does a feature request exist to optionally backup and restore these items?

I have 7 family trees does Gramps have the ability to back them all up in a single .gramps package with relevant media and then mass restore them ? Or should I raise a feature request for this idea? --CallMeDave (talk) 09:11, 13 July 2020 (UTC)

I believe the saving of filters etc is covered by 11408. Don't see anything for your second request, I suggest you raise a feature request. Generally the Gramps mailing list is the best place to ask general questions so they can be discussed. --Adamvazquez (talk) 22:14, 13 July 2020 (UTC)

will do , thanks --CallMeDave 06:34, 16 July 2020 (UTC)

There are a FEW preference items that affect new record creation but are not saved with a backup. The ID format, default family relationship, backup path come to mind.

Should these be mentioned in this template?

(Other items that affect how data is formatted in the GUI can be changed at any time without data harmonizing implications. So those can be ignored as 'noise'.) Bamaustin (talk) 14:02, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
