The {{man label|Headline News gramplet Gramplet}} reads the wiki [[HeadlineNews]] page once every houra day. The links from the wiki will appear in the gramplet and clicking them will open the associated webpage in a browser. The Gramplet will get data from:

* Gramps Blog posts
* Gramps Git commits
=Prerequisites=Because the Headline News gramplet Gramplet gets its information from the Gramps wiki (at httphttps://gramps-project.org/wiki/ ) and other places you need to have a internet connection for this to work. ==Issues==
* Does not work with {{bug|8558#c41544}} For Gramps 4.1 ( AttributeError2+: When using gi.repository you must not import static modules like "gobject". Please change all occurrences Instead of "import gobject" parsing Sourceforge feeds it will be better to teach him how to "from gi.repository import GObject". Seeparse github feed eg: https://bugzillagithub.gnome.orgcom/gramps-project/gramps/commits/maintenance/show_bug.cgi?id=709183 ) Changing "import gobject" to "from gi.repository import GObject as gobject" makes the gramplet workgramps51* Help button does not come here* Dialog box does not expand correctly  * Possible Enhancement: In a future Headline News Gramplet version, you'll be able to add your own URLs, edit those that are there, and reorder them. {{bug|???}} atom
