After travelling most of the day yesterday, Wednesday Feb 9, 2011, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Salt Lake City, Utah, I am now rested and ready for RootsTech to begin. The first thing one notices in Salt Lake City is the beautiful skyline… the city is surrounded by mountains. These are the small hills on one side:

There are huge mountains, and I’ll try to get some better pictures. I’ve never been to Utah before, so this was quite stunning. I’ll try to keep everyone up to date on events here as they unfold.
